Switchboard is built by technical leaders with experience leading teams at Biden for President, Pete for America, and other organizations in the Democratic ecosystem, as well as at several leading consumer tech companies.

We serve the long-term Democratic & progressive movement
We make decisions that we believe will lead to the election of more Democrats and other progressives over time or advance the movement in other ways. We only work on projects that support this aim.
We are a tech company at heart
We advance the movement by providing technological services that work well at scale. We believe this allows us to maximize access to our tools and our overall impact, and plays to our strengths as individuals and as a group.
We take ownership of our work
This includes our work as individuals, our company collectively, the experience our customers have with us, and the work we are doing as part of a larger political effort.
We operate with autonomy
We provide value through our tools, but also the unique data and perspectives we have. We are not afraid to take new approaches to problems outside what’s currently considered normal, and we’re not afraid to challenge the status quo when we have data to back it up.
We try to stay humble
We strive to avoid being overconfident when it comes to our own beliefs and assumptions, and the work we do overall. Another couple of sentences here ideally would be great so it is even more even.
